CTET Exam Answer Key 2024 December: Key Updates
The CBSE has not yet released the CTET December 2024 provisional answer key. The exam took place nationwide on December 14, 2024, across multiple centers. Candidates who appeared for the test can check the answer key once it is officially published.
Important Highlights of the CTET December Exam 2024
- Exam Format: The CTET exam was conducted in two shifts:
- Paper II: Morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Paper I: Afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Marking Scheme: Both Paper I and Paper II comprised 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 150 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
When Will the Answer Key Be Released?
The provisional answer key for CTET is typically released within 15–20 days after the exam date. After its release, candidates will have 2–3 days to raise objections, if necessary. A nominal fee of ₹100 per question is charged for filing objections.
How to Raise Objections Against the Provisional Answer Key?
If candidates identify discrepancies in the official answer key, they can challenge it by submitting the following:
- The question(s) they are disputing.
- Supporting evidence for the objection.
Failure to provide valid evidence may lead to the rejection of the claim. A fee of ₹100 per question must be paid while raising objections.
OMR Sheet and Calculation Sheet
After the CTET results are declared, candidates can download their OMR response sheet along with the calculation sheet. To access this, a payment of ₹500 per OMR sheet is required. The fee should be paid via demand draft in favor of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, payable at Delhi.
Qualifying Marks for CTET 2024
To qualify in the CTET exam, candidates must score at least 60% marks. A relaxation of 5% is provided for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang categories.
